Membership

As a Climate Communities founding member, your locality will:

  • Shape the federal action agenda for Climate Communities;
  • Obtain national visibility and attention through leading this initiative;
  • Receive timely information plus in-depth analysis on emerging climate policies;
  • Build relationships with the key federal decision makers on climate issues – congressional committee chairs, staff, and federal agency program leaders;
  • Strategically position your locality to get additional resources through pilot initiatives and demonstration projects that will be implemented throughout the nation; and
  • Play a central role in the Climate Communities conferences, calls and other events.
