Contribute to the Energy Block Grants Work! Campaign!
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) are empowering thousands of cities and counties to create new clean energy jobs through investments in building efficiency, community scale renewable energy, and other projects that save energy and cut carbon pollution; however, this successful grant program will end in 2011 without action by the Obama Administration and Congress.
Organized by Climate Communities, the Energy Block Grants Work! campaign is rallying cities and counties across America to urge President Obama to include full funding for the EECBG program in his budget for next year. The EECBG program will not be funded without active support from cities and counties across the nation. Your generous contribution will support the full-time policy, lobbying and organizing staff required to demonstrate to the Administration and Congress that the Energy Block Grants are indeed working in communities across the country and the EECBG program deserves additional funding.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
| Roger Dickinson, Board Chairman |
